Yep pretty average summer here, had more events with brief heavy rain vs long duration heavy rain, it felt like it rained a lot here this summer but it wasn’t long lasting
Well this was unexpected...

I dunno where fall is but nowhere close to here
I remember last year Oklahoma cooled down after us but it gets a lot colder there for the most part overall.

Probably pretty close. I'm not sure what my 3 month total was as i didn't record June. But i think June was decently wet.

Temps are several degrees above normal, but otherwise, it's par for the course in Texas for September (tropical systems notwithstanding).

I mean...Dallas' average high for September is still 90*F.
In 80% of the country, that's warmer than those area's July average, lol.

Apparently it's hit 100 as late as September 28th
Not normal but not unheard of either

I can’t wait ! For the next 3 months give me not a drop of rain , and a ton of sunshine and good weather . Nothing but 85/54 type days this month . Anyone and I mean anyone wishing for nasty ass cold rain and 40s and 50s or anything horrific like 100 will be banned !
Maybe some severe wx ? mostly unidirectional flow but enough flow for organization

Look at the gfs instead, it retrogrades to pacific and puts us into a roast by mid month
Only managed an intra-hour high of 99*F today at DFW.

Also, it looks like OKC ended its 100*F futility run yesterday.
EDIT: Never mind, I'm wrong. I was looking at Tinker AFB. Will Rogers still hasn't hit 100**F from what I can tell.
Early start for me today and the first time in months I’ve stepped outside this early and not felt like I was stepping into a warm and wet sponge. It’s still 66 degrees, but the dewpoint is a very nice 60
