All I was saying is I don’t see a period where significant drought takes over the southeast … I still stand by that ??One of theese is not like the other....
May. No contest.I wonder if 98 degrees is hotter in May or October? ??
I remember those 90s in October sure seems pretty dang bad. Maybe it's a psychology thing bc it's definitely not supposed to be that hot in October.May. No contest.
All I was saying is I don’t see a period where significant drought takes over the southeast … I still stand by that ??I would love to hear from someone who believes significant drought is going to take over the southeast during this upcoming “dry period” .. y’all love picking at my words ??
Just wait til winter when he becomes a cold and snow weenie too! If the CMC has a day 10 snowstorm and nothing else does its going to find a way to happen!!You're a rain weenie like DD is a cold weenie.
I love how Virginia is included in a Southeast map but Tennessee isn't ?
Just stop it. Seriously, these derailing threads and troll comments about trivial stuff belongs in whamby only.I love how Virginia is included in a Southeast map but Tennessee isn't ?

And while we're at it can we take the 98 isn't 98 in Oct but is in May and June stupid argument to the whamby too please, thanks
Fall weather looks completely off the table for at least 2 weeks.
Yep as long as we are looking at thisView attachment 88999
Forget about fall. Maybe by the week of the 5th we can see this break up a little. I'd be keeping my eyes glued to the tropics over the next 10-14 door is wide open but with the ridge that strong we might just see a parade into south Texas/ northern mexico

This is problematic my desert in the backyard has been coming back to life quickly the last couple of days, you can see the stress on grass and shrubs starting to happen again View attachment 89008
Well we'd get the mcs we've been waiting forThis is literally last winter awesome Atlantic horrible pacific View attachment 89015
Crazy how any sort of cool airmass just avoids us this run so far, but yeah that look is good for faster flow aloftWell we'd get the mcs we've been waiting for
Yeah with the flat pac the best we can do is stall the front out especially with the subtropical ridge winning. Now once the block in Canada retrogrades the gfs might drop a real cool air mass in by 384Crazy how any sort of cool airmass just avoids us this run so far, but yeah that look is good for faster flow aloft
Meh looks like it gets washed out by the pac and we just cycle through the same turd burgerYeah with the flat pac the best we can do is stall the front out especially with the subtropical ridge winning. Now once the block in Canada retrogrades the gfs might drop a real cool air mass in by 384

Congrats @Avalanche View attachment 89013
I'm not here advocating that mega cracked earth no water for cities drought is coming but this idea that it's been wet is weird. Normal isn't wet in the SE it's enough to offset usage and keep the grass green but can easily be erased by 7-30 day dry periods. If we go through the next 10 days with minimal rain I'd bet that D0 will start appearing in the piedmont and sandhills and if we start creeping into mid September with not much precip but plenty of upper 80 to near 100 things will not be ideal
No joke tho
did somebody say last winter ? View attachment 89017
