At this point if it's not gonna snow then we should all want warm sunny days with incoming severe threats.

Nope, I’ll take 40-50 degrees as long as possible. Keeps the severe and bugs at bay.

I'm in eastern NC very little keeps the bugs at bay. Give me snow or give me severe but that inbetween nonsense is no good.
I'll just put this here (from 0Z EPS) as food for thought: this could very well be overdone due to cold bias but still this looks nice to me since I always like cold. By the way, it still says SE torch lasts only about 3 days (March 11-13):

GSP going with 71 here. Currently 37
Sigh. I guess winter really is over.
Eps mean is still cool for the mid month period and actually moved the needle on snow in that time frame

Northern stream looks a lot less oppressive & wound up on more recent NAM runs which bodes well for a more coherent phasing w/ our upper low.

Man, this is some Sit on the deck in the sun and drink your coffee weather right here. The only thing that could make this weather any better were some leaves to blow in the trees.
I wonder when the last time we hit 60F on a sunny day before 10am was. Probably November

When this translates east ... watch out
NPAC wave train was amplifying /strengthening Aleutian ridge along with a dump of lower heights from Alaska and a block breaking down in Canada, probably would have been a continued western dump
I know I said this yesterday but the similarities to last March is interesting, TPV on the other side is literally in the same areas

That stuff in Manitoba and Alberta has me concerned. If that rotated through instead of dumping you get a stalled front/wedge
