The 12Z GFS pumps up the SE Ridge and does the almost does the cold dump in the West. Models are continuing to push back the cold for people east of the Appalachians. At this rate, the cold may never even get to the SE, especially the eastern SE.

SE ridge with a -pna is real.
We get 6 pages of discussion before I can check back in when we don't have anything on the horizon, by the time I check back this afternoon it'll be 20 pages Lol

Not buying the 1058mb high pressure and its still fantasy land. If it consistently starts showing this and doesn't move back the timing it is definitely time to break out the blammin' jeans tho. ?
That's actually in 10 days and we all know 10 is the magic number for fantasy storms. Until it gets within the 5 day window it will remain a fantasy to me.

I got a high of 65 forecast today and I’m gonna enjoy it to the fullest. Last warm/pleasant day for quite a while it looks like.

Meh I don't really think it disappeared
Models imo were moving the cold in to fast, I guess it makes since there slowing it down given the MJO
Yeah I'm still a little concerned about that but I think that the NAO coupled with an western ridging should work out well for us

Somehow, someway, it ended up getting the coldest air on the hemisphere in our neighborhood. No idea how it did it though. Lol.
The overall GEFS synoptic look is very favorable.
NPAC block, probably wouldn’t be long lasting though
