Really do wonder if all of that precip in NE AL can make it down here intact....it looks like it's slowly drying out though as it heads SE.
Sister in Auburn reports flakes. Congrats most of the Carolinas, Auburn AL beat us to snow

Looks like the models did pretty well. Most of the action is in north Alabama and west Georgia. I’ll have to enjoy my few flurries and hope for the next one.
You can’t even see the lights of downtown gatlinburg and the sound of the wind and snow is just beautiful. My wife and I are expecting our first child together in early May, and it’s going to be a boy.
I can’t wait to introduce him to the weather! Pretty soon he will be posting with all of us!

Snow has made it to within 25 miles of the far western SC/GA border! Just about exactly where the downsloping areas are most prevalent
Inch or two but had some really cool squally showers. With the high wind and fog it was epic.

We're getting light snow here (NW side of ATL inside the perimeter). My niece texted me and said it's snowing down in East Point too.

Models kept hinting that the mountains of Sevier county would be the jackpot zone, and they weren’t wrong. Best returns are right there.
I will say that area of convergence has sat still overhead, which may be hurting temps dropping but gives a shot at precip ?
