If trump was leading in polls there is a 100% chance he and his followers would be touting them and screaming from the rooftops about them.
Whomever wins this election won't like the trophy. It will come at an incredible cost and present the victor with the unimaginable task of trying to heal this country and restore the economy. I for the record have not seen anyone I think can manage that.

I’m not brave enough to say Trump will win in November. He’s been drug through the mud for 4 years and a lot of damage has been done. Some people may choose not to vote for him this year in hopes that we can return to some societal normalcy where we aren’t throwing stones all the time. No matter who wins, your lives will not change.

I disagree about our lives changing but I do agree neither candidate will cause the change. It's the aftermath and how the winner handles it that concerns me.

My step dad sent this email to me today. It is absolutely right. I have no comment on this so don’t comment to me in a negative way because I’m not gonna respond back. But this is a good read.

There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, etc.

You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you....
So why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?
You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day.
You have Black History Month.
You have Cesar Chavez Day.
You have Yom Hashoah.
You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi.
You have the NAACP.
You have BET....
If we had WET (White Entertainment Television), we'd be racists.
If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists.
If we had White History Month, we'd be racists.
If we had any organization for only whites to 'advance' OUR lives, we'd be racists.
We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce.
Wonder who pays for that??
A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant, but any color can be in the Miss America pageant.
If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships... You know we'd be racists.
There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US .
Yet if there were 'White colleges', that would be a racist college.
In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights.
If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists.
You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it.
But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.
You rob us, car jack us, and shoot at us.
But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.
I am proud...... But you call me a racist.
Why is it that only whites can be racists??
There is nothing improper about this e-mail.
Let's see which of you are proud enough to send it on.
I sadly don't think many will.
That's why we have LOST most of OUR RIGHTS in this country.

High taxes and a $15 minimum wage wouldn’t be a recipe for good economy. How are the small business and dollar trees and other cheap stores gonna afford to pay $15. They can’t which equals less jobs.

Trump will win Florida. I’m 2018 De Santis was down like on average 4 points in the polls and like 11 in an individual NBC poll. He ended up winning the state. Trump was down in the Florida polls in 2016 and won as well. I have no idea if he will win the election but I’m confident he was Florida. It will come down to if he can win either WI,MI, or PA again

FWIW and honestly more a stock market deal but the market doesn't usually react too well initially after November 4th regardless of who wins. I was just a nub that her dad was still trying to get to pay attention to the market back in 2016 but I can still remember what the market did and it was red and historically it leans toward that. I want to say it was -1000 or even further and charts lean toward that being right.
I don't expect this time around to go any differently. Only difference is it might be considered a fear mongering day if it's Trump winning a second term.
So yeah, stock market usually goes red the day after the election but then it does calm down.

Sure everyone is worth that. But the think every small business or dollar store can pay it is crazy. A lot of jobs could be loss because some businesses doesn’t make enough revenue to pay $15hr.

As a conservative I am struggling at the moment.
We always say that no matter who wins we will survive as a nation. So IF I vote for Biden I firmly believe we will survive it. We survived 8 years of Obama.
I'm sure we will survive 4 more years of trump but I believe that comes at a much worse cost to our nation. Trumps not a uniter he is a divider and one that will manipulate that division. He says dangerous things like the threat to the DC mayor. He is a clear and present danger.

My fear I think is legitimate. How will the economy respond to $15 minimum wage? Obama didn’t do that. I believe $15 minimum wage will kill a lot of small business that can’t afford to pay that. Because small business is America’s backbone wouldn’t this hurt the economy?

Not a matter of what someone is worth IMO, it is a matter of if said business can support the wage or not and if the person is truly working to earn it. I used to work at a retailer and worked my tail off for $8 an hour but worked hard to get pay increases... and what I saw working there was people who had ambition and drive were able to move up and make more $$ and those who just were there for a paycheck didn't. We had one guy come in and go from a sales person to GM in a year, went from making $10 an hour to $75k a year in less than 12 months. That is what ambition, drive and hard work will do. Our society has an entitled mentality and instead people need to learn the value of hard work and ambition imo.
Having said that, I do think the minimum wage needs to be raised(not to $15, at least here in NC) but it definitely needs to be increased. I believe in NC it is $7.25 an hour and has been for awhile, it needs to be bumped up to $8.50-10 range IMO to keep pace with inflation and other things.

Their net income was $1.7 billion, still a lot but that's what businesses are out there for. They're not in the business of giving away all their net profit and the profit can be used for things like acquisitions, bonuses, shareholder dividends, better benefits, etc.
