Yeah it's getting interesting late next week especially in the plains and western parts of the southeast. Still lots to work out for the southeast as a whole. Will be interesting to see when and where the trough starts to lift out

The euro could be a outbreak for a huge area with that look. That would get pretty much everyone from the deep south to the upper midwest.
 
What's it look like for Charlotte NC on next Saturday , the 29th?? Will this still be to the west of there??
 
Cape and vorticity look ominous - what's the moisture look like to go along with it? (Sorry - working to meet a Friday deadline and no time to search models right now ... :()

getting concerned for a big time event late next week for some still... midsouth area looking primed for a big event. western half of south should pay close attention... maybe most of us should... depends how the trough gets ejected out active pattern coming

actually 2 threats first to come late wed early thursday with a passing active warm front passgae... then late saturday into sunday, which im more concerned about to be honest[/QUOTE]

Hmm seeing a very sneaky severe threat on both GFS and Euro in the Wednesday-Thursday(May 3-4th) time frame. Shear vectors would be extremely favorable for supercells along with good low level helicity. We need to watch this closely.
 
SPC has highlighted another Risk area for Saturday May 27th with mention of expanded/higher severe probabilities in subsequent outlooks. Any thoughts?
