Is that you birdmanBecause we can't go swimming if it keeps lightning.
I’ll take low 90s as cool. How about a cool and dry June ?
GAWX?How about average temperatures with average rainfall? ?
Here's the way I see it; we'll eventually have to pay the piper. Heat is a certainty for everyone below high elevation. It could come anytime between next week through early October (as we found out last year). There will be plenty of heat and pool time, and most of us will be begging for cooler weather before long. Take any cool we can get and be thankful! Heat will be not be absent. I say, bring on the cool as long as we can get it!!!
How funny!Is that you birdman
Very funnyHow funny!![]()
The heat is to our west right now but she will move East and hit the brakes until November. If it’s a active hurricane season then we might get saved.Hopefully it’s a cool June, does the cooler than average weather look to last long or are we just delaying the inevitable?
Yeah we pay for it middle dead winter ... with a ragin Niña conditionsI'd be perfectly fine with average temps and some storminess. I do also expect us to most likely pay for no real heat so far eventually.
Next Thursday looks a decent chance for us to make a solid run at widespread 90s. That's on the heels of maybe not getting out of the 60s Monday.
I think someone posted it was 6/23What's the latest first 90 day for RDU?

It may have been 85. I think I remember a slow start to that summer. Was it in 84 or 85? It seems l remember one of those summers seeming absent of high heat.
If I recall, 2003 was a really cool summer and barely had any days above 90.The latest to hit 90 at the Atlanta airport was June 25th, 2003. The earliest was April 12th, 1930, and the average first day is June, 1st.

There were like 4 or 5 days of 90+ in Atlanta in 2003. And it never got above like 91 I think. It would be pretty cool if Atlanta went the whole summer without hitting 90.If I recall, 2003 was a really cool summer and barely had any days above 90.
Getting harder and harder to find a way around solid 90s on Thursday and Friday of next week.
That's why you don't look. It's a thing. LolEvery time I check the forecast for that time period the temps go up! ? I'll miss the cooler weather!
