Have seen some reports on Twitter about major damage and multiple house destroyed.

None of the storm chasers on the site I'm watching are there, but I'm hearing discussion. They think that the tornado may have taken out the traffic cam (because they weren't able to find one) and radios.

The guy that's talking said that he got up to 71.5 dbz on the debris ball (or I think in the middle of the storm) at 200 feet up.

Edit: Now I just heard "at least 2 dozen houses are flat out gone".

The HRRR still has PDS Tornado soundings across portions of Metro Atlanta this afternoon, which given the coverage of storm upstream (none of the models seem to be handling this actively well, BTW), is concerning.

Storms around Jackson, MS have the potential to be the discrete supercells of the day that take advantage of such a ripe environment ahead of the main line. Environment is prime for long track tornados IF they can get going.

Went on snapchat to see of any videos were up from monroe. Once you get past the idiot flashing his drugs there's some damage videos. Certainly not a strong tornado where the video was take houses all intact but lots of smaller debris everywhere.
