surrender it to who? Not sure what you’re talking about. The US is the epicenter of the pandemic.

I would agree but if those people choose to see him and be around him that’s their choice. Does nit mean he is being insensitive. Example like my niece who is an RT. Her dad is not in good health at all and they practice safe distance but still hang out together. He loves her and is willing to risk it to see his daughter as she is him.

It's fine if you take the proper precautions. I miss my family as well, trust me. It's been difficult for me. But you can't just pretend everything is great because it isn't. I have seen my parents, but if I do I am 6 ft apart and we all wash our hands as often as we can. People who say, "well I am not going to listen to actual DOCTORS," and continue to defy science are the ones that are going to cause our ultimate demise as a species.

btw I've seen a whole lot worse on the internet over this. I think what's probably actually realistic is to work on establishing some new norms that we'll see until there's a vaccine (maybe if you want to go sooner, until there's an anti-viral or until they figure out if the plasma injections work) beginning in the middle of May (I'm hoping to get to go see family a little after then), and steadily progress into them, unless it's a hard hit area.

Yet there seems to be a camp online that is like "it's not worth risking it, we better stay shut down until there's a vaccine." I got into some pretty intense arguing over that, and it eventually led to a fall out for now with the Braves chatroom on discord. Maybe trying to open up steadily is going to fail, but I'd rather give it a shot instead of being like "screw it".

I'm not sure what they're going to do about sports. Unless there's major restrictions on crowds, you're opening yourself up to liability problems if you go. The TV money will be good, but still.

Yeah I agree. As most have seen on here that I have had my arguments. Even got called mentally insane. ?. It’s been tough on everyone. There is no easy solution or any one completely right. Bottom line is we do have to open up and face this virus. I was out today and practiced social distancing. My rock quarries are running open. Everyone in good spirits. Went to store and everyone was safe and happy. SK is having their pro basketball league now. So there is hope we will have sports.

And even besides Europe, other countries like Brazil seem to be on the brink and could be headed on a disastrous trajectory when we hopefully start to get things under control next month.

meh per capita really can’t look at it that way. The us is huge with hotspots. Take the northeast US and show me those per capita numbers. We are by far the epicenter of this pandemic. You have huge swaths of our country with little outbreak that skews those per capita Numbers.

So you want to take a small subsection of the US and use that to produce data and then say the ENTIRE US is the epicenter? I mean I can twist data and make anything say anything I want as well. It’s not a good time to do stuff like that.

The NE is larger and more populace than some of those countries higher on the per capita list.

I file paper returns and I'm ready for them to get the web portal up that you can input your banking info so you don't have to wait on a paper check.

When did you file the paper return? The IRS severely reduced processing of paper forms at their regional centers last month and completely suspended all paper processing this week.
