btw I've seen a whole lot worse on the internet over this. I think what's probably actually realistic is to work on establishing some new norms that we'll see until there's a vaccine (maybe if you want to go sooner, until there's an anti-viral or until they figure out if the plasma injections work) beginning in the middle of May (I'm hoping to get to go see family a little after then), and steadily progress into them, unless it's a hard hit area.
Yet there seems to be a camp online that is like "it's not worth risking it, we better stay shut down until there's a vaccine." I got into some pretty intense arguing over that, and it eventually led to a fall out for now with the Braves chatroom on discord. Maybe trying to open up steadily is going to fail, but I'd rather give it a shot instead of being like "screw it".
I'm not sure what they're going to do about sports. Unless there's major restrictions on crowds, you're opening yourself up to liability problems if you go. The TV money will be good, but still.
