Good news here.

edited out Twitter. Had some things in it that didn’t quite add up to this article as I read it

isn't this the quack that said 2 million deaths in the US . Tried to find an eye rolling emoji but I cant find one...…..

Yeah, that is very interesting although as I read the twitter feed a little more, it didn’t quite add up to the article linked. That said it is very encouraging.

Damn it, since I go to college my parents still get to claim me as a dependent meaning I don't get a check.... meanwhile my bummy friend who spent 1 year not working after graduating high school, started working in the fall, pays 0 bills, gets everything handed to him, spends every one of his dollars on his abusive gf ( not kidding every last penny), will get a check for more money than he has ever earned in a month... That is beyond infuriating...my parents aren't the most well off either. I've been working since I was 16 and all the loans for school are under my name and all school expenses I pay for. My parents do what they can though and help where they can so it's fair they can claim me as a dependent.
Kudos to you for doing things the "right way". It will pay off for you down the line......

At least at the harris teeter I work at, meat usually comes in on Thursdays, there wasn’t any left here either, but some turkeys. Hot rotisserie chicken is an option too, usually the first run at Harris Teeter comes out fresh by about 1030am and another run around 1-130pm (ish).

My food lion had cases upon cases of chicken today. I was there as they unloaded. Pick up two small packs of legs, two big packs of legs, two small packs of thighs, two small pack of breasts. They was a butt load of it. It was nice. I was the first standing there and everyone waited behind me as they loaded the coolers. No one pushing and everyone just taking two of what they needed.

I have found chicken at local meat centers, discount variety stores, etc but not at foodlion/ingles/Walmart/public/aldi. Try to google some local places or Facebook pages of small businesses.

Well, being in Charlotte I can say people really aren't following the "Shelter in Place" orders. Lines wrapped around Starbucks, Lowe's and Home Depots are packed. Besides Uptown, you would have no idea there were any orders in place. I wish Cooper would step it up and make it a Statewide mandate. I don't understand what he's waiting for.

Lol our county chairman just issued a state of emergency for the county. He didn’t order a shelter in place, just basically copied what Kemp has ordered and he did close all county parks and non essential businesses.

If your parents can rightfully claim you, then there's no problem here. If you feel that they can't rightfully claim you, then file your taxes correctly and don't worry about what they do.

For the Forsyth people, there is a decent stock of meat at the Ingles on Keith Bridge. There were about 5-6 2lb. packs of ground beef left and a lot of chicken and other beef cuts.
