Heat index at my house peaked at 121 at 1343 today. Dewpoint peaked at 82. I have never seen numbers that high in the four years of data records at my house.

Its 99 in Atlanta at 4pm. Were they forecast to get this hot?
Absolutely not. Near 96 had been the projected airport high. The airport warmed a whopping 5 degrees between 3 and 4 PM!
Well sure 'nough, TWC got it right if that's official (per a post several pages back).Newnan got up to 98*F so far.
Also, the heat advisory has been extended until tomorrow. I'm traveling out of town for business for the rest of the week though.

From what I can tell is we maxed out at 95 with a HI of 113. Definitely a nasty day.

Newnan has hit 100*F (heat index 113*F). ATL also hit 100*F, tying the record high for the day (set in 2007).
