Misc 2019 Banter & Friendly Conservation

Were never going to see a clean coastal bomb here in the Carolinas, always going to be a problem with waa in some part of the atmosphere, I would not be surprised to see IP appear in future runs for this storm

A weak sheared wave sliding accross the FL panhandle with a 1079 in NY state is the only way we can score. Maybe next year? ??

If you want snow you need to be able to smell the rain? You are in a great spot for a rain storm! Maybe you will be able to smell my .5” r/s mix from your house ☃️?

I’ve been at this hobby for a long time so trust me
when I say this: Rates always overcome. If the Euro is showing your temperature in the mid 30’s you can go ahead and shave 8 or 9 degrees off of that to get a more accurate number. ?

Wow what a great way to start out a Monday. Wake up to a bunch of terrible model runs. Another wasted beautiful storm track with no cold air. Good lord..
 
I think the fv3 would beat the euro if the fv3 had the same amount of input data.

The 0z run of the fv3 was awesome with heavy snow bands and temps in the upper 20s. What a tease.

Am I missing something bc I’m not seeing this for the upstate. Looks like an i20 storm to me with maybe some token flakes for i85. Don’t get me wrong. I’m happy for a lot of people to see snow that hasn’t seen it in a long time but I don’t think this is our storm in GSP

Your missing everything! The 6z models show nothing but rain , for those that even get precip! I’m glad we will miss that, we’ve had enough
