The nam is much colder vs the gfs and euro in tenn. and northern Mississippi . Those areas could see a nice front end thump of the moisture gets in there fast enough

At this point we are going to want to watch what happens upstream. The NAM is showing a lot more snow/ice in Texas, Oklahoma and surrounding areas. If that verifies it will be a good sign for downstream. Tomorrow's NAM runs will be very interesting.

I'm definitely watching but I dont see the NAM verifying, it could be a nice snow sure but 20 inches?

@Storm5 or anyone. What I have circled is the upper level low correct??? That’s is what we want on the back end of the system to come thru to give us a chance of snow?? Correct?? Trying to learn to read the upper level maps.

NAM looks colder in the CAD region.

NAM has a wetbulb temp of 27 at RDU, with colder/drier still filtering in at hour 84. Drier than the GFS. This will definitely matter when it comes to the strength of the CAD
