Model forecasts show a secondary low development after the parent low has moved OTS. One way to look at it is the fact that it does add onto totals, but the warm nose can change precip types. Is it better to have 6 inches of snow with another inch of sleet/Fzrn, or just the 6 inches of snow without any additional frozen precip???
Georgia is better than Oklahoma but Oklahoma won their conference. Georgia had their chance and didn't get it done. Quite frankly I'm tired of playing Alabama so let someone else lose to them.

GSP to CLT couldn’t mess this winter storm up if they tried. Near certainty they get 6-10” with some sleet to end.

I have both but if I was going to pick it would be weathermodels. One thing truewx doesn’t have is North America/Hem 5h anomaly maps for Euro/EPS.
I like stormvista too, it updates really fast.

Calm before the storm. These 0z runs are about to be something serious me thinks!
If all of the global model guidance start aligning with the setup the 12z EURO showed today over the next coming days, I'm gonna have to get really creative with my colors for my ice/snowfall call map. First I need to find a good blank map (preferably with county borders) of the Southeast US region.
EDIT: Nevermind, I found one that could work for me. I'll have to do some photoshop editing though.

Well, maybe we are awaken to the reality, tonight, that it's not even winter yet. I guess we should make the best of the fall like weather through Christmas and see what's in store for 2nd week in January, right?
