Met Steve Stewart of ABC11 is one of the best out there imo, doesn't shy away from showing what models are showing next week and explains the possibilities, also explains why he is forecasting cold rain this far out (which makes perfect sense to most of us) but doesn't discount the wintry possibility. Best way to handle these situations imo and he always shows multiple model runs....

Didn’t models pick up on to the Christmas 10’ event a week out? Seems like it locked on and never really let go. Also earlier season Niño..

The models did lose that storm. I remember because I was thinking I'd be pleased if I could just see snow on the ground while I was up in LaFayette, and then the next day it started to snow when I woke up and when I got to my grandma's house up there, "1 inch of snow" was already on the ground.

Ended up seeing 4-5 inches from that and it was thought to be a dusting-1 inch there.

The Euro is showing over 3.5" of qpf for the areas in SC with the big totals...

I'm guessing it's a little overdone

You have had a hard time getting a sprinkle when we have had all of these rainstorms all year...I've seen the pinpoint on the map of your location that you post every storm...;)

I haven't said it here as I've kept relatively quiet but I accepted weeks ago what was likely going to happen in college football and am OK with it, but the Saints winning in Georgia, burn that baby down and start over!

Back when Riverboat Ron was a gambling man (going for it on 4th and 3) and taking chances, it payed off. I guess its all caught up with him now. Looking at the roster, they should not be in this bad of shape. But, they are. And you're right, some drastic changes need to be made. Individual parts look better than the sum.

Of course, I'm a Broncos fan so foolish of me to speak on what the Panthers need to do when we have our own W-L record that's pathetic as well. At least Von Miller still has commercials. :)
