Pattern Magnificent March

NWS Little Rock does a fantastic job w/ these historical case studies, I commend them for being able to produce snow accumulation maps before 1895.

Next week is starting to get my attention.

Temps won't get out of the 30s according to the gfs. If I get even another inch of snow in march it would be quite a feat. In 12 years of living here I don't ever recall 2 snows of over an inch in march.
Hell, last weeks storm was the latest accumulating snow I've seen since i lived here.

Quite a range in temps today. 66 in Raleigh; 44 in DC. 77 in Tulsa; 47 in KC. 70 in Nashville; 50 in Louisville. Must be a stalled front somewhere.

So the GFS doesn't like snow for NC, but does for TN, AL, and GA, the CMC has all, and the Euro I close for GA and AL in portions, but too warm in guessing except the mountains, but likes NC.
GFS has shown snow for NC at the same time in some runs just like the Euro and Canadian. Next Wednesday and Thursday definitely look interesting.
