agree - but it makes far too much sense for this year - LOLI haven't followed the dewpoints but it could just be evap cooling due to heaver precip.

They are. Saw photos a hour or two ago on 11alive. Snow from Dalton to Blairsville including Hiawasse.According to wunderground, places like Blairsville and Blue Ridge are getting snow. Not sure if that's accurate.

The heavier precip (rain) is along the I-20 corridor in Georgia right now while Dahlonega is mostly getting lighter precip. As FFC said in their disco this afternoon, in the WWA area, there can be some road accumulation if heavier precip rates are realized. That's probably why Carrollton is cooler, there is some top down cooling under the heavier precip right now. Per SPC mesoanalysis, 850 temperatures are > freezing except near the GA/TN border, so unless more cooling happens there and down to the surface, nobody outside the mountains and far northern tier of counties in GA will see anything but a cold rain overnight.
Hey! I'm just happy to be able to watch and root! Now - go play before the sun angle gets ya! LOLPoor Phil.
