Meso low feature pulled southerly winds. Noticed this last night across Columbia and Greenville, SC...which is why CAE and GSP remained warmer than Charleston most of the day on Thursday. Residual effects still linger now that the mesolow has weakened.

KCHS noticed within the flow there have been gravity wave features within the flow. One crosses GA from 18z to 21z tonight and there could be more within the realm of waves of LP crossing thru.

Nothing but 40 degrees and rain here in Charlotte, but this wasn't really our party to begin with. Can't wait to head up to Brevard...looks like I may be in for some great totals up that way!

Not even a drop of rain here right now. Looking at radar we'll be lucky to see any MIX much less rain. Really bummed. The north side of ATL *always* gets the action, storms, snow whatever. We get nothingburgers again.

31.4 degrees. Solidly below freezing, snow continues to get heavier. This is amazing! If these rates keep up all day...damn!
