Wintry Winter Storm Dec 7-10

I'm sitting in Paulding county Ga which has turned Into per model right near ground zero for accumulation in GA tonight just want it to get here and be busted like times before
 
Hurts to see this precipitation amount over SC and know it's all going to be rain outside the NW.

The latest run of our model is becoming much more aggressive with snowfall totals. While some of these totals may seem far-fetched based on ground temperatures. We will likely see a period between 6am and 10am when the snowfall will exceed the rate of meting. I would not be surprised to see 3+ inches in East Alabama. Pay close attention to this evolving weather situation. Travel will be impacted Friday morning.
 
That fetch of moisture from off the coast of NC stretching all the way back into Mexico is pretty amazing. Such a strange event this is. Heavy snow in some unusual spots.
