This mindset is a double edged sword. Too often we see this mindset breed conspiracy theories because where nothing is "fact" then anything can be possible. This can lead to a vacuum that can be filled with whatever outlandish "truth" someone wants to full it with.There are definitely things that can spiral out of control in war. I think the big issue is, we don't need to be really dramatic or swing for the fences in the alt media universe to agree that there are substantial risks.
I think much of what we see put out is misinformation, meant to shape perception and mold thinking. It's strategic, and I feel like many who aren't on guard for that should be. But that doesn't mean we have to believe, for instance, that the US is engaged in designing weapons in biolabs that it sponsors around the world...although there's absolutely no way to know that for sure. It's just that without evidence, it's merely opinion.
