Alexander county isn’t even in the watch and has had 2 or 3 warnings so far. Crazy
Large break in clouds right in the middle of the enhanced area. Not good to see warming at 4pm in the summer ahead of the right front quadrant. Usually we suck at timing but not this time.

Watch is up in Charlotte Metro now.
Too little too late. Tornado watch is expiring at 7pm.

Looks like some cells developing behind the main line.
I definitely didn't expect an enhanced risk upgrade, at all. It's going to be a long evening for a lot of the western Piedmont. It's very warm and muggy outside and the winds are howling. Definitely stay weather aware!

Well I got off work came home so wet you could ring the water out my clothes. And I wore a rain suit. Didn’t help worked through the Tornado warnings and all

Yes it was but being a weather fanatic I enjoyed watching the faster moving lower clouds. My eyes was steady scanning i made best of it.

Anyone know of any confirmed tornados in the upstate? I believe Maulden had one but not hearing of any damage outside of that one.
