Misc This Means WAR

Well, I try to talk about Middle East dynamics without applying it solely on TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP , and arguing the Middle East is complicated without an easy solution. But maybe I'm wrong? I hate being wrong mind you, but not this time. Maybe there's an easy solution..

But there's also a possibility there's no easy solution and there's layers upon layers of divisions and those layers sometimes merge and flip on a dime. Might involve $$$. Oil. Colonialism. Shiite vs Sunni. Islam/Judiasm/Christianity. Crusades. Cold War. And even considering all that, you got the coldish war between us and China and whatever our relationship with Nato is now. Maybe it's worth considering that and applying those lessons of past history.

And then maybe we can talk about how TRUMP applies to all that along with him being WRONG or playing 4D chess or POLITIX. I'm not saying it's not relevant, but he might be one factor among many..

Lord knows this is definitely true. I mean, we can look at Israel, while it definitely started off as being European-ish, I think it is slowly transforming more and more into being a typical Middle Eastern country as the years go by.
 
Hearing what Vance said to Israel, I understand his and Trump's expectations for unquestioned servitude. In spite of the fact that Israel, though they were considered to be partners in this military endeavor, and even though they were the ones most negatively affected of all the nations of the world, were not consulted or considered in the agreement made with Iran. It is true that Trump is the last world leader that openly says he supports Israel. It is also true that Israel has relied on the United States for security and equipment.
I think what we have witnessed, is the exact same thing we saw from Trump on the abortion issue. We have seen he supports things for power and political reasons, but not because of principle or belief. His pride is on display almost 24/7. He is always looking for what will give him a "huge" name. I know he covets the Nobel Peace prize that Obama got (which he brought more for division than peace). He wanted to be renown for bringing peace to a place impossible for peace. In discussions with liberals I am accused of being a Trump MAGA, in the discussions with MAGA Trumpers I am called a never Trumper. The republican "RINO" despise my love for our constitution and country, and my unwavering belief that the hope we and everyone in the world has is Jesus.
This situation, and Vance's threat to Israel, along with the support I am seeing for his statement magnifies and glorifies the Word of God. The book of Zechariah and Joel speak of all the nations of the world gathering against Israel and the book of Revelation implying the same at Har Magiddo. Wouldn't it be amazing if this is the time? there is no doubt that trump feels like the failed assassination was proof of his anointing. Maybe it is? The United States is not mentioned (tough sometimes it does seem as though we could fit the description of Babylon) in the prophecies. Is this a major piece of the puzzle falling into place? Could this be the beginning of our end. We definitely our filled with a Spirit of worldly pride, which always ends with a fall. God have mercy on us! Please!

Israel attacked Iran
 
Safe to say the war was a disaster. The peace deal is what it is at this point and I doubt we’d get any better without a ground invasion, but we seem to be in a worse spot than we were prior to the war, despite losing soldiers, national prestige, and many billions of dollars fighting said war.

I had some hope the Iranian regime would fall in the early days and the people would rise up. Once that didn’t happen, there wasn’t much other way for this to end. I think the ease of deposing Maduro emboldened the Trump Administration so much they thought they could do the same thing here.

"Holy Books" and black goo seems to have gotten a lot of good people killed the last 2000 years. I honestly don't mean for this to be ugly because I once thought this way too but years of war tend to open up a soldiers mind to what is real and what isn't. You believe what you want to believe but religion has no place in making decisions that cost people their lives. It's time to stop killing one another over this nonsense

True if that were the case but it isn't. You can discover some really disgusting things in those so called holy books when it comes to killing in the name of and there is nothing divine about that. There is never a time in any universe when killing women and children is ok and there are a LOT of people who have no issues with that. It's sickening is what it is

I guess I appreciate Trump trying to protect lives, especially those civilians, but Iran needs to be defeated or they’ll continue to sponsor terror whenever and wherever possible. Maybe Trump can learn from Netanyahu…

Trump gave an opportunity for the citizens to rise up in Iran and they did not, therefore our job is finished.

If we where going to do something we should have done it during the huge uprising they had earlier this year, when 10's of thousands of them were being killed. After that movement was squashed the wind was gone out of the sails so to speak. Not to mention thousands of people who were willing to rise up had done so and been killed, I can only imagine how demoralized the people were after they did not succeed in changing the leadership at what turned out ot be a very very high cost. So I can forgive them for not wanting to pay that price again and probably see the same results.

The US should have had thousands of weapons smuggled in to Iran and had some support in place ( CIA/black op etc ) before they started bombing Iran so the people had the means to rise up and actually win on some level.

I don't want to insult your intelligence by saying what i'm thinking, so I have to presume you aren't familiar with how iran works proxy communities? Hamas and Hezbollah are both under Iran's command. Why else would it matter to iran that Israel is invading Lebanon? they are constantly without reason ,attacking Israel, other than " death to Israel, death to America".

It is always religion! You can't escape it. God is orchestrating everything. A man's values are set by what he believes. Everything a man does he justifies in his own heart. Men without The Knowledge of God ( there is one true God) are motivated by worldly gain, and justify things according to what pleases themselves. Men who Know God are motivated by heavenly gain, and justify things according to His Word. There is no peace between the two, There must be war as long as the two exist. Thank you for your service!

I’d like to think so but as long as they have means and intent on constructing the type of missles that can reach the western world we will have to come back to this point. Our job is finished when they are no longer a threat to us.

I'm sorry I am not familiar with him....I presume by his name he is Jewish? However, extremist racist are in all governments. I don't think it would change the principles of the war. I will look him up though, but All I will know is what google tells me about him.

Wow is all I can say.....
 
Man. Internet/social media has really changed things. Case in point--in the old days, we applied diplomatic pressure to our allies in private. It would always get out of course eventually, but usually months or years later when books were written.

Now most (all?) of the dirty laundry gets revealed almost by the minute.

Could also be a feature of the current POTUS. Might be both?

No! have I said something to make you think I would? I do think the iranian radical Muslims must be utterly defeated for Israel to be able to have a reasonable amount of safety. Lebanon has a majority Christian population. Hezbollah has over run their military and their government.
