Misc This Means WAR

No! have I said something to make you think I would? I do think the iranian radical Muslims must be utterly defeated for Israel to be able to have a reasonable amount of safety. Lebanon has a majority Christian population. Hezbollah has over run their military and their government.
Quick question. Are you for us applying pressure on Israel to force them to obey a Lebanon ceasefire or against?

No, I’m just telling you this horrible thing he said since that’s part of the war you’re supporting. I wanted to make sure that despite your support for the war, you don’t agree with the extremist Ben-Gvir.

I don’t consider someone wanting to end terror an extremist

Are you talking about Ben-Gvir? After I posted some of his extreme views, including those dehumanizing all Palestinians, wanting all of Lebanon to burn, and threatening PM Rabin after damaging his car just before he was assassinated, you don’t think he’s an extremist? Even many Israelis do! Bibi, himself, has distanced himself from him in the past!

Hearing what Vance said to Israel, I understand his and Trump's expectations for unquestioned servitude. In spite of the fact that Israel, though they were considered to be partners in this military endeavor, and even though they were the ones most negatively affected of all the nations of the world, were not consulted or considered in the agreement made with Iran. It is true that Trump is the last world leader that openly says he supports Israel. It is also true that Israel has relied on the United States for security and equipment.
I think what we have witnessed, is the exact same thing we saw from Trump on the abortion issue. We have seen he supports things for power and political reasons, but not because of principle or belief. His pride is on display almost 24/7. He is always looking for what will give him a "huge" name. I know he covets the Nobel Peace prize that Obama got (which he brought more for division than peace). He wanted to be renown for bringing peace to a place impossible for peace. In discussions with liberals I am accused of being a Trump MAGA, in the discussions with MAGA Trumpers I am called a never Trumper. The republican "RINO" despise my love for our constitution and country, and my unwavering belief that the hope we and everyone in the world has is Jesus.
This situation, and Vance's threat to Israel, along with the support I am seeing for his statement magnifies and glorifies the Word of God. The book of Zechariah and Joel speak of all the nations of the world gathering against Israel and the book of Revelation implying the same at Har Magiddo. Wouldn't it be amazing if this is the time? there is no doubt that trump feels like the failed assassination was proof of his anointing. Maybe it is? The United States is not mentioned (tough sometimes it does seem as though we could fit the description of Babylon) in the prophecies. Is this a major piece of the puzzle falling into place? Could this be the beginning of our end. We definitely our filled with a Spirit of worldly pride, which always ends with a fall. God have mercy on us! Please!

We are wrong to expect such a ludicrous idea! We totally disrespected Israel in the whole process. If America was Israel would you like the deal?

I ask because of the point you made earlier in bold this morning, which appears to argue for pressuring Israel to accept a ceasefire, and cites scripture to support it. Was giving you the chance to clarify.

Regarding: "If America was Israel would you like the deal?" That would be a no. But I'm not sure how that argues they shouldn't. Many nations don't like deals and take them anyway cause they have to. UK 1783. Japan 1945. Different situations of course but interesting. Both thrived to some extent afterwards. I suspect I'm missing the point of your question though. (unless you are asking how I personally would feel)

Ahh, I see the confusion... I was speaking of the fulfillment of the prophecy that in the last days that all nations would turn against Israel. That would glorify the word of God, just as the crucifixion of Jesus did. I pray that doesn't happen in my or my children's lifetime. I don't think Israel is at a point that they have to accept the deal as much as they have to defend Israel.
regarding the UK in 1783 and Japan in 1945, they were both defeated and surrendered to the defeating governments. They were a party to the negotiations.
They thrived because we got told them what they could have as a conquering nation, and they abided to it. Israel is not at war with the US, and we surely have not conquered them.

Gotcha and fair enough. Thanks for taking the time to explain. I disagree and believe they should take it mostly due to US and International consensus. I might explain further later we'll see. (I've got a lot going on this afternoon and this weekend, lol)
