But there's also a possibility there's no easy solution and there's layers upon layers of divisions and those layers sometimes merge and flip on a dime. Might involve $$$. Oil. Colonialism. Shiite vs Sunni. Islam/Judiasm/Christianity. Crusades. Cold War. And even considering all that, you got the coldish war between us and China and whatever our relationship with Nato is now. Maybe it's worth considering that and applying those lessons of past history.
And then maybe we can talk about how TRUMP applies to all that along with him being WRONG or playing 4D chess or POLITIX. I'm not saying it's not relevant, but he might be one factor among many..
