So we go from Iran blocking the strat to trump. Wonder what trumps asking price will be and how much his family profits from it

I think it is akin to analog based forecasting of wx when there is no similar analog. There is no similar analog in this case imho. This isn’t Venezuela. This may work out well in the end, it may make things much worse, or it may lead to the most likely of somewhere in between. Nobody knows no matter what they say now. But hindsight is 20/20 and I expect many folks will later comment in hindsight (I knew that was a great move or I knew that was a terrible move) however it ends up.

Short term (tactical) US military goals have been met but what’s been highly questionable are longer term (strategic) goals being met. We’ll see how this blockade will affect the strategic landscape.

Good points. I'm always astounded when people seem very confident in outcomes in these situations when there are so many variables.

Case in point, the US military is now saying it will blockade any ships "entering or departing Iranian ports and coastal areas,” but said it would allow other ships to transit the Strait of Hormuz. That's a little different than blocking the entire Strait.

I will say it one more time Twitter has ruined the world. The masses see anything in writing and they think it's the truth. That is exactly how propaganda aims to control.

Yeah definitely took off in 2020 after the election. Anyone could see any election worker going to pee and it became proof of stuffing ballots. We never recovered from that and it's only gotten worse.
 
In an interview this morning Trump said that we are the ones that stopped the meeting with Iran because they would not meet all of our points he said that he is not giving in to them at all. And that they have to meet 100% of our demands. We will see what happens and if he's being transparent. But that's pretty opposite of what Twitter is saying according to you guys.

Ask yourself how many trump admin narratives have been true. Try doing it objectively. At least 3 ice shootings, 2 fatal that have been completely blown out of the water with video evidence. The Abregio deportation that turned out to be a false narrative. Nancy Mace storming out of a classified hearing saying the story we were told about the reasons behind the war were not the same they were briefed on!

It's hard to buy any trump narrative because they've lied so many times and any objective reasoning of these incidents prove it.

It's all tied together to the post you made. A legitimate question is how transparent has this admin been and the answer is not too much so it is easier to believe twitter.

Half the stuff he says on TV is to play the game of whoever he's trying to "win" against, so I do give him a buffer because he is proven that's what he does over and over
