Best thing I've seen the last day or so on the models is the op euro finally eliminating the heat ridge. We are hitting the point where the jet starts to really sink south its only a matter of time

Until this death ridge that will be giving us the miserable weather this week retrogrades or breaks down, we will be in the oven for most of this week. It's a good thing the sun angle is decreasing and the days are getting shorter, otherwise, many of us would probably be seeing multiple 100 degree days coming up. As is, we still might hit the century mark at RDU this week.
