Misc Stock Market

If this Dow move was legit, I actually think that you’d need to have care shorting tech right now, at least outside of garbage. There have been times where it has been on an island, but there have also been times where it has told the correct story.

Unfortunately, or fortunately if you’re bearish, it feels like this Dow move is over. It might wind up putting up another solid day today, but the way it ran out of gas after gapping up reminds me of how it ran out of gas on March 29th, and it came in after that.

Likely next leg lower for tech next week unless many get screwed with the Apple report again (Google wouldn't do it because it can do its own thing). Could even see new lows on those indexes, probably not on the Dow and S&P though as they’ve been too strong.

TGT is straight parabolic...probably a good short down to $240...but not in the mood. Such a momemtum driven market.

Added some $GOOGL here...if it loses $2500 the market is going to be in big trouble.

I mean that’s the thing with options. The best route is to have some conviction in a trade and expect to eat a substantial loss before it prints. Stop losses with options are a killer but can also
save you from a 99% loss in a matter of minutes. It’s tough stuff man. Degenerate trading. I think another thing that’s worth trying is averaging in on a trade 10% at a time through like a 15-20min time interval. Idk but I definitely need a beer now.

Haha yea usually I set it for like a 25% max loss and then start pushing it up as it goes up.
 
I’ve seen no demand issues….Tesla showed that last night. And now this report.

Never seen a market sell off this hard when demand has been so strong. ?‍♂️
