It is all 1 on 1 off the dribble to create shots if they can't get Bacot the ball on the post. There is no ball movement at all. No screens, no cuts, no reversing the ball. He wants to play a NBA type freelance offense that relies heavily on 1 on 1 play, our talent being better than your talent. I think he is doing it because he thinks he has to in order to get the best talent, because they want to be able to showcase their skills for the NBA. Maybe it will work, but to me it is basing everything on talent and recruiting, not coaching. And he also doesn't make any adjustments on defense when they are getting killed by the same play over and over. Wake kept using the pick and roll last night for easy layups, dunks, and alleyoops. Hubert never adjusted. Hope he gets all the top talent he can because his coaching isn't going to get it done.

Yeah best dunk contest in a long time. It sucks seeing a guy miss 10 dunks and still move on to the next round. Anyway, I couldn't believe how that dude could jump. Pretty amazing. I wish the actual stars would participate, but those days are gone.

I def feel the glory days of the contest are well behind us, but I’m happy to see whoever participates and give them a try. Nothing spectacular about the dunks this time, but they did try and they didn’t make the viewers watch a bunch of failed attempts. Even though we’ve seen them all before, those dunks were still nice and I appreciate those who do participate in it.
 
Ive been watching and hearing about Carolina Basketball since the 70's. This by far has been my favorite season and team to watch. Life is good in the state of NC!! Hopefully Hubert gets an extension this off season.

Brady Manek is not on the team is what's wrong. Ask Avalanche. He knows what's going on. Without him you don't make that run last year. Y'all would of been ready to fire Hubert last year if it wasn't for him. Same team this year without Manek. Pete Nance is junk compared to Manek and yes I heard it all last summer and on other forums and FB that Nance was going to be a upgrade from Manek when he transferred. I just don't get it and never will how anybody could of thought that. There no where to be found now that said that bs. Coming from a diehard Duke fan I don't think y'all give Manek enough credit. He was y'all's savior last year. Good luck with Hubert. Y'all are wanting to run him out of dodge now since the wheels are falling off. I've also heard a lot lately from folks in the RC that wait till Hubert gets his own guys his recruits in and gets rid of Roys leftovers then he will turn the program around with his players. But last year when y'all wiped us out he was being held as the greatest coach ever but not know and he has the same team back except for the biggest piece missing to the puzzle and it's not Pete Nance.
 
Hey Lick. Sorry about the game last night Lick. Thought you had us all the way. Maybe we can meet you in the Acc championship and triple crown you. At least you will have the same team back next year for their 4th 5th and 6th years again while we have another team of 18 year old freshman. Maybe leaky can bribe the NCAA for a another COVID year and come back for his 7th year. Hold on tight to those two wins last year beating us at home and in the final four because that's all you got right now. Take care Lick. Have a good weekend.

I would say you guys own a team like Clemson over the history of the last 100 years with the record you have against them but you don't own us but that's fine if you want to think that and believe it. If we were never competitive against y'all and lost just about every game then it might be different. But it's not and you know it. What ever makes you feel better about it though. You guys still sold on Pubert? Is he still going to bring home the bacon for y'all in the future. I heard Duke was never going to win another game after you guys sent K into retirement and Scheyer was taking over. Is that just tarhole logic speaking or actual beliefs. Hasn't worked out to good either way you slice it. Is Caleb Love still your boy. I heard he needed a police escort out of the hole the other night. Your own fans turned on him. I know it's different over there. So glad Coach K passed up on Love and took Jeremy Roach over him. Heard y'all are building another new Dean Smith center brick by brick compliments of one Caleb Love. Take it easy Lick. Enjoy your warm weather coming up.

If they can get a top 10 QB (after a few seasons), then I'm all for it. If they draft a guy who ranks in the 20s at best we are screwed.

I don't follow college football enough to have an opinion on any QB. But man I hope they get it right.

We have like nothing at WR now. Maybe we bring back Chosen Anderson ?
 
Has trading up to number one overall for a QB ever worked out for a team?

Richardson is off the charts with his raw numbers. He shredded the combine. He’s faster than Cam but is built like him. The problem is he didn’t have the best teams around him at UF so he did not do a lot of winning. He absolutely has the tallest ceiling of any of them and if he can throw it on a pro level, with his physical traits, could change the game like Mahomes.

Stroud had a mid season but when the lights came on in the postseason he was lights out. He’s a bit more of a pocket guy but still can scramble well. He has a cannon for an arm. He might be the best prospect if you count in the talent he had to play with around him.

Young has every single tool you want in a starting QB except stature. I think he can absolutely be a Russ Wilson type. The only thing holding him back is potential durability issues due to his size. His stats possibly may have been inflated due to the overwhelming amount of talent at Bama compared to the competition.

Levis is more of a prototypical pocket guy. He’s got the normal QB stature and has the “tools” that one looks for. However, he had a not great senior season. Personally, I think his roof is Ryan Leaf.
