Carolina Hurricanes up 2 games on the Devils, scored 6 goals tonight and 5 goals the other night....be nice to get this one quick so the guys can get some rest time before round 3.

Glad we went to see the Braves tonight. Definitely got our money's worth - 23 runs and 33 hits, including an extra inning walk-off.

Why in the world did NASCAR have a street race in Chicago? In the best of conditions passing would be difficult.
The Braves have put together some amazing teams the last 30+ years, but this year's team seems to be on an entirely different level.

Yes but we have to play like this in October too. But this team has the potential to be the best Braves team ever.
I'm a Reds fan, albeit a casual baseball viewer; I agree that was a really fun series to watch from a couple weeks ago.

I saw on the WRALs evening news that Stanford and California are being discussed for an invitation to join the ACC. This conference realignment makes no geographical sense anymore and little common sense when you have teams from the Pacific Coast possibly joining a conference based along the Atlantic Coast.

Don't love it unless they add 5 west coast teams and go with 4 pods of 5 teams. I don't think there's going to be a ton of interest for a 10:30pm wake @ cal game in mid November

might as well add Gulf too since Florida State is close to the Gulf Coast.
Hearing that Florida State is considering leaving the ACC.

They’d go to the SEC. Culturally, FSU and Clemson don’t fit in the Big Ten. They aren’t AAU institutions and the Big Ten cares about that sort of thing. I could also see State and maybe Virginia Tech going to the SEC if the ACC falls apart. I think UVA/UNC/GT/Duke probably go Big Ten.
The GOR is solid. It will probably cost them a minimum $500 million.
