Hopefully so! KFFC doesn’t seem overly worried about ATL getting severe when looking at their forecast. Usually “possibly severe” is put in when there’s a threat:

Take this threat, seriously folks. Here in Goose Creek at 11:10pm, just had a hailstorm that lasted 3 minutes but was absolutely spitting quarter to golf ball size hail. Sounded like artillery fire on the roof even with my center's Playlist playing.
