6z 3k NAM tried to get some storms going in coastal sections and fwiw the LR HRRR had a couple UD helicity swaths down east. Also I'm guessing it's been expanded for potential wind issues if storms can get going. Low cape, high shear always has a couple of surprises

Yep the line fires a bit further west this run, and that trend should continue....we shall see. Lately we suck at all kinds of weather here, well except for hot and cold rain.....the only bright spot has been a few decent wind events.

One thing is for certain this gradient wind looks to be no joke. Gusts to tropical storm force not out of the question. Something about a rainy and windy night is my favorite type if weather. This is a really dynamic system. Those of us a little further north in dixie alley can count our blessings that this is January and not April.

A mobile home park and several cluster home developments are right under that signature. That's going to be ugly.

Yeah that was a very intense signature. They storm went from zero to a hundred in just a couple of minutes

Wind is SE here now temp up 5 degrees in the last 30 minutes

My PWS here in SENC is showing 65 degrees and dewpoint of 57. Mostly Southerly Winds in the 10-15mph range w/ higher gusts. Winds are on the increase though.

@SD This was a legit bust on the models. Pur entire back docking pad is a flooded out mess. Probably 5 to 8 inches of water.
