the wind was bad earlier in the Slater-Marietta area...im just glad it did not last long!! Two rough storms in one day here

It definitely looks like that storm is rotating on regular radar but it's not as nasty as some of the storms I've picked up on regular radar. Hmm.
Also got a very strong gust here at the UNCC campus .. had to be 40-50 mph biggest all day
big thunder. I really hope this thing isn't rotating

Definitely looks like the storm that instigated the severe thunderstorm warning in Spartanburg is going north of its initial warning polygon in the general direction of Gaffney.

I hate wind energy driven storms, especially at night, give me a pulse storm and we all good

So I was at a bar last night when I saw that Greenwood Springs had taken a direct hit. So me, half-lit, had to go back and make sure everyone was okay because I'm the one that still talks to folks out there, and my dad was asleep.

Getting vibes to that storm that produce a tornado close by years ago, I forget when but it took on a line segment look then got a quick hook, I’m a lil worried
The hook is gonna pass right over me if it continues it’s track

Really strong winds outside this storm, winds are howling from the SE, i can hear branches falling, I’m assuming maybe some inflow ?

Not sure what to expect in Myrtle Beach in the morning. The NWS down here in their AFD put in quotation they “redid” their forecast. Cancelled tornado watch and storms could fire over water who knows. And by the way Richmond County NC u need to mow the grass it was taller than my car

Just had some wind and rain, thank goodness
Close call up this way this morning, was awakened around 2:30 With some very strong winds but no issues at my residence. However did see this morning at possible weak spin up about 8 to 10 miles South Southwest of me, move the house off its foundation and up rooted a bunch of trees

87mph out over the sound with 70mph in manteo and 72mph at jennette's pier.

Hope everybody is ok. I'm so friggin pissed that I didn't build a house with a basement. Was going to and then talked myself out of it. So DUMB! Had the chance and blew it. Not happy about the next threat. So thankful for this forum. Have a great sunny day to all
