Severe Severe potential April 13th-15th Palm Sunday Weekend

Wouldn't be surprised if another severe t'storm or tornado watch goes up later this evening for the Carolinas ahead of these storms now crossing into SC from GA given the environment ahead.
Yeah the hrrr trying to keep things going thru 1am with some rotating cells... sleeping with one eye/ear open tonight

Picked up .82 from the really only strong storm that came through here after riding through a deluge for over an hour. Curious if those stronger storms that are west of me stay together or fall apart.

So. have there been any big storms in the Triangle tonight, or this another time where we don't get any storms at all when under a watch, and keep getting worse storms when we're not under a watch?

Be careful ya'll. That was scary but went south of me to Hartwell, now to Anderson. Careful. Praying for all.

That looks like a solid hook to me.... not sure about them letting that warning expire

HRRR painting a worrisome picture for triangle area.. has PDS signatures all over the place from 1-3 am most would probably be caught off guard

This doesn't have to do with y'alls weather right now but, a needless death happened in west birmingham that my dad worked today, (him being a firefighter) from a speeding driver that hit and killed a person cleaning debris from a fallen tree. If anybody goes to clean up debris or anything near the road be cautious people are too careless now days.

Hope it turns out to be a dud like usual. Bet a lot of folks will think nothing is happening there overnight if they didn't get any storms today.

If it's actually correct, this HRRR picture is bad:

But who knows if it actually is because if I remember correctly the HRRR was trying to break down that line too quickly when I looked at it this morning before I left to make the trip home (and again while I was out riding home) and my first post today was about how I was riding in at least moderate rain to a downpour for an hour and a half from close to Cartersville through Atlanta. The line did break up, but it didn't anywhere near quickly as the HRRR depicted.

And just like that we went severe warned after it passed through the golden strip.
