So that bottom Graphic for Precip says that 2019 was only the 42nd driest, and that 2017 was way drier at 59th driest.... I know this is taking the average of the whole state, but i'm curious to where the rain fell in NC last year that kept the average higher?
I only had 0.69" for the whole month of September last year and that was by far one of the driest I can remember.

So it was more normal eastern third I take it? Coastal Plain?
I think we had a slow cold front storm scenario one evening. I don't remember any specifics though
