We live in a country that imprisons the mentally ill, those with addiction issues, homeless people, ect. Not to mention our prison system is literally broken and we have the highest prison population in the world due to a failed war on drugs.

Unlike you, I believe in a prison system that helps people reform so when they get out they'll have the tools they need to survive.
I never said I wasn't for prison reform. I know you're just searching for something.

Things aren't gonna get better under Trump, prices won't lower, in fact if that 20% flat tariff gets enacted things will just get more expensive. The only people who are gonna benefit from a GOP led federal government are corporations and the rich.
This is nothing but a false mantra from the left. If it were true, then you would see corporate elite and the rich vote R every time; but the complete opposite is the reality. Musk is the exception. All the big billionaire guys; Gates, Bloomberg, Zuckerburg, Bezos, Cuban, etc; the woke corporate rulers, and the ENTIRE entertainment industry is almost exclusively left.

Assuming Trump delivers on tariffs and deportation, I sure hope we are all prepared for the economic dislocation that follows. Each has their place but I do not have faith in moderation during Trump 2.0.

I also give it 6 months before one or both of RFK Jr or Musk has a falling out with Trump - too many strong egos between the three of them.

As a dem, the dems have a lot to figure out while out of power because clearly the folks currently in charge have lost the plot. The dems didn't have a true soul-searching after 2016 but after losing the popular vote this time I think there is much stronger pressure for self-reflection. Sometimes a clear defeat leads to healthier rebuilding in the end, and hopefully that starts with a strong 2026 midterms and a truly open primary for 2028

The GOP and the MAGA movement are so caught up in quasi-replacement theory rhetoric that they're willing to tank the economy lol

The final vote result with states is Trump 312 to Kamala at 226.

Trump will also win the popular vote, but those numbers aren't done yet.

The house is still in question, but it's a good chance for Republican control.

It's very unlikely you're going to see anything extreme under Trump. He has never been extreme. In fact, he's been pretty moderate. That said, you may end up being right about Musk and RFK. We'll see.

I expect you'll mostly see a common sense policy approach. None of this dictator for life, end of democracy, befriending Putin, eliminating all abortion, etc will come to pass. The left may not agree with the policies, but they won't be extreme, democracy-ending stuff like has been said by the left and media for the last 4 years.

I would rather deal with the European far-right than deal with Republicans in power because at least the European far-right still believes in a welfare state for the most part. I'd much rather have UKIP or National Rally in power over than than Republicans lol

Name one thing that Trump cut during his last term in regards to welfare? I don't care what you say everybody knows he's not conservative .He's moderate.

Why did they steal the election then but not now or years prior? Why was republican turnout also so high, if they cheated why would they boost republicans? How does this chart with no sources prove anything? Can you tell me if there is a statistical difference in turnout between elections? Can you offer some statistical analysis highlighting the significance of these results and the likelihood they are due to chance vs cheating vs turnout? Come on fro, you are a super intelligent man who delves super deep, more than anyone, into the intricacies of weather forecasting... you are capable of doing the same here. Also, how much of this difference is absentee ballot vs turnout? The argument is 2020 was the way it was because of absentee ballot, but this shows me none of that... so how can I arrive at any conclusion?

The best conclusion you can come to if that bar chart is all you have to go off of is 2020 stands out. That is all I gather from that chart and all that can be gathered without a better analysis.
The oversight in 2024 was massive. Everything was being watched like hawks ready to pounce on rats in the fields.

Yeah I mean people keep pointing at this project 25 stuff. And in reality I haven’t seen any evidence that Trump would impose any such project 25. I’m just looking forward for cheaper groceries and hopefully lower mortgage rates and rent prices. Those things should benefit everyone.

And for 3 elections in a row,the pollsters missed Trump vote, where off about 3%.

The lady in Iowa, who is the euro wx model of polling. Has egg in her face today. She looks like the Nogaps model
She has a history of overexaggerating democrat numbers. It's also being reported that she talked to Harris on the phone about dropping this outrageous poll. That person is nothing but a political activist, not a pollster and has no credibility moving forward.

Trump said that project 25 has nothing to do with him. Anyone that says otherwise it's misled or just trying to stir up stuff.

It's not Trump, it's the fact that Republicans control the house and senate. Also, Trump may not personally be conservative but the rhetoric he's pushing is

The people that bankroll Trump 100% did so with the full intention of putting project 2025 into action....it's literally the reason they backed Trump anyone that thinks otherwise is gullible enough to vote for Trump to get a second term....

Let's focus on why they are in prison to begin with and fix that instead? I don't have all the answers but neither do Democrats who claim that they do. Looking at the inner cities of America run by them for decades, I would call their current platform a complete failure

Thanks for info/clarification. I had never heard of her, not suprising. But the pollsters circa of folks, all spoke highly. Again i had no clue, just listening to them on interviews, which I only do 1 week or 2 every 4 years.

seems I saw this somewhere.....maybe project 2025

If they put in a system like Florida then I am all for it. Florida counted what 9 million votes in about 2 hours on Tuesday night. There is no reason why that can't be replicated across the country. It is beyond crazy that it takes multiple days / weeks for votes to be counted. We know the date of the election in 2028. I want every voice to be heard, and spoken, but at the same time our citizens need to practice civic responsibility as well and make sure we do our part if we want our vote heard. Pass a law that makes getting an ID free, and make voter ID a requirement in each state. There are common sense approaches that we can do that will make voting fair, safe, and regain the faith of the American people in the process.
