Presidential Election 2024

I wondering they threw Kamala in to get rid of her too at this point if the early data does favor Trump. At least if Trump wins it'll be the last 4 he can serve so those mad about his constant presence will be at ease in 2028. Just please as a nation let's never go this clownish for candidates again.

I'll just be happy for the Democrats to stop spamming my phone with text messages.

I've probably blocked 500 different numbers at this point...

Question, what would Trump have to do, politically or morally for any of you guys to withdraw your support of him? Like what is the absolute line he would have to cross for you guys to go "Yeah, no" on him.

I'm asking this based off of yesterday when I brought up Trump being held liable for sexual abuse and the non-chalant, "who cares" reactions it got.
He would need to screw up the economy, have no plan for our debt, show more interest in protecting immigrants than Americans, spend all our money on foreign wars that have nothing to do with us. Etc. Etc. I would gladly not support him if that's the case.

You've been lied to constantly, it's easy to pick out the people that just repeat the media talking points.

So there was never a civil court case where a jury unanimously held Trump responsible for sexual abuse and defamation? It's all just media talking points?

He would have to send billions to Ukraine, open the borders, call me garbage, etc. There is lots more.

The framing of the question on its face is a false premise.

If Democrats want people's votes, they have to earn it. Simply screaming "Orange Man, Bad!!!" will only get so much mileage when you don't produce tangible solutions to the issues a huge chunk of the electorate cares about.

Provide a better alternative from another party.....I've yet to see one.

On the surface it would seem sexist to believe that women voters in 2024 are automatically programmed to vote for Kamala Harris. That is not the case, however, with a gender gap among women of over fifteen points and the heavy emphasis the Democratic party has put on women voter turnout this year with reproductive rights being the number one ballot issue and so many celebrity endorsements from high profile women it is hard not to look at women voters in 2024 with blinders on.

I will say, a similar assumption was made in 2016 with Hillary Clinton, and Democrats ended up with egg on their face as a significant chunk of women in fact went for Trump.

Alots happened between 2016 and now. Trump was an unknown quantity then but his lunacy has been on full display ever since

Pointing out the moral failings of a Presidential candidate is valid. It shouldn't be considered ludicrous not to want an immoral President

At best, it just dissuades voters like me from voting at all.

So Orange Man bad, fine, I won't vote for him. That being said, what is it that you *CAN* do for me? Because giving you my vote will effectively be me endorsing whatever you do or fail to do, and morally, I don't take that decision lightly.

His politics have been going on since 2015. He literally torpedoed a bi-partisan border bill a couple months ago. Are you saying his politics haven’t had an influence for the last 4-5 years. You can’t be serious?
Yeah that border bill sucked, in fact, dems offered up something they knew wouldn't pass so they could then claim that maga was the issue. Straight out of your liberal playbook. I find it funny that for the first 3 yrs of the current presidency it was "Bidenomics is working", "inflation is transitory" and "the economy is great look at all the job creation", yada yada yada. Now all of sudden, the economy is bad, middle class is suffering, "hamburger is up 50%" (Harris) but instead of admitting Bidenomics isn't working, instead of admitting that inflation was transitory, instead of talking about constant job creation number adjustments, no, it's Trump's fault, he's still somehow in charge and ruining the economy. It's fascinating the lengths you all will go to spin their failed policies to Trump's fault. Lol
