No, he can appt someone to fill out Rubio's term but not House members. They have to have a special election. Gaetz seat is vacant until an election is held.

They will get Gaetz seat filled by J3 and there’s still three house seats in AK and CA the R is winning that haven’t been called yet.

Gaetz is a staunch Trump supporter, part of the Freedom Caucus. Trump is getting Gaetz thru one way or another. Doing some research, Gaetz is Uber smart and understands policy and coming up with good policy.
John Fetterman talked about Trumps cabinet picks stating he feels Trumps picks are a God Tier level of trolling against the liberals in a nutshell.
As for the sexual harassment claims... it seems like it's been 4 years since that came about and nothing came of it... so I'm going to chalk that up as another unfounded witch hunt ...
We'll see how it goes, but Trump is playing some 4D chess here...
Edit: upon further digging, Gaetz is exactly the right guy. Now I know why the DC Swamp creatures don't like him.

We know Gaetz is crazy enough to prosecute anyone if asked, lol. This guy had the entire House looking like fools during the last Speaker fiasco.
