They will not pass anything for a long time. Just getting a Speaker of the House next year will be very hard.

We could cut back without having to gut the safety net. Start with cutting pay for Congress and get rid of most of the pork that ends up in all budgets. Cut back foreign aid too. The social programs probably need to be cut some, but they want to cut them out instead of cutting back. Cutting them out will not happen yet, but if Republicans get a bigger majority in Congress and or 1 more Supreme Court Justice voting with them those programs will be gone.
 
Illl never understand the disconnect in this election if people really.feel this way yet voted.for a billionaire who pays less taxes than they do? Voted for the guy who was on tape promising to be favorable to the elites these people think are stacked against them.

It doesn't give me much hope on the informed decision making of our voting class.

You really have no understanding of what happened. The bill today is almost the same as the first one. The only real difference was this had the same spending but literally removed any debt ceiling for the first half of Trump's term.

Even Nancy Mace understood what was happening. You should ask yourself why Trump was ok with this bill but not the other ( hint it was the unlimited debt Trump would be able to use)

Dude you got a lot of hate in you....might wanna work on that.

Elon isn't giving Trump money...Trump isn't in charge of anything except going after people he thinks did him wrong, its his entire reason for running again, well that and he needed to win to stay out of prison.

Everything else is going to be ran by Bannon, Vance, Musk, Miller and their friends at Heritage aka project 2025....especially social policy etc...
