This is a complete load of hypocritical nonsense.
The guy starts the article talking about the United States; but notice he changes it to the "United States of We Pay Our Own Damn Way." This party has long decided the United States of America is a racist, hateful, and failing country. I guess he has, therefore, already come up with a name he prefers... except.. well, there's no truth to it. The adherents to the left don't want to pay for anything themselves; for decades they have elected representatives and passed laws that would get it paid for by others. He says they have paid for everything red states need but red state voters aren't the ones voting for that stuff, or even asking for most of it. I notice he includes a picture of a flag, but of course he has changed the flag from the one he thinks is racist, hateful, and evil to one that borrows from it. He then goes on a superior complex induced rant. Then he chides some of the southern (Red) states for "sucking at the federal teat" and taking more from them (blue states) and the government than blue states take; but of course, ignores the above stated fact that blue states are the ones passing these laws and wanting everything for everyone to be funded in the first place; while further failing to note that some of these southern red states have a higher percentage of the very demographics his party has spent decades trying to convince that they cannot fend for themselves and need to be provided for in the first place.
The very end is just as ridiculous. He ends with this:
"We will need to run our states and our cities so well, in such an effective and enlightened manner, that we can make you understand all over again what every page of our history should already tell you. Through our own example, we must win you over, American by American, town by town, state by state, until we are once more in a position to mitigate all of the foolish, cruel, and wasteful things you are about to inflict on the rest of us, and to move forward once again, as American states united."
Yet amazingly he ignores that fact that long run blue states and cities have achieved just the opposite and shown us that those policies do not work.
The rest of the article is nothing but a bunch of emotionally charged, mantra filled, and fear mongering ramble.
We might end up splitting as a nation one day but this guy is... clueless.
