moving towards Xenia now, infamous from the 74 outbreak

Made a right turn right over the N/E side of Dayton
 
FROM MONITORING THE WILMINGTON CHAT ROOM IT SEES LIKE THERE IS A LOT OF DESTRUCTION IN THE DAYTON AREA. FOLKS TRAPPED, HOMES DESTROYED, AND SNOW PLOWS CLEARING INTERSTATE AND MAJOR ROADS

Looks like Texas and Oklahoma are the biggest concern today.

Probability of Watch Issuance...80 percent

SUMMARY...The severe threat is expected to increase across north
Texas and southern to central Oklahoma this morning. An isolated
tornado threat along with wind damage and hail will be possible as
storms move northeastward across the region this morning. A tornado
watch may be necessary once uncertainty decreases concerning timing.

DISCUSSION...The latest radar imagery shows a cluster of strong to
severe thunderstorms across west-central Texas located just to the
west of an axis of moderate to strong instability. The RAP is
analyzing MLCAPE in the 2000 to 2500 J/kg range across north Texas
with a pocket of 3000+ located in southern Oklahoma. In addition,
the RAP is showing a 40 to 50 kt low-level jet over central Texas
which is moving north and strengthening. This feature will move
northward toward the Red River resulting in a more favorable
low-level shear environment for tornadoes. Short-term models develop
discrete cells this morning from northwest Texas into southern and
central Oklahoma. However, the exact timing is a bit uncertain. Once
initiation takes place, supercell development will be likely. An
isolated tornado threat, wind damage and hail will be possible. WW
issuance will likely be needed across the region.
