The world is evolving for sure, but not as fast as some like to think it is. If it was evolving rapidly Trump would have never been elected in 2016

As much as his family is involved in politics you have to be joking. Even Ivanka is highly likely to run possibly along side Pence! That would be wonderful to have a extra 8 years of Trump in the background helping.

I mean, he managed to create a very rabid and devoted base of support during the 2016 election cycle and perfectly appealed to demographics that felt ignored and left out by both the left and the pre-Trump right. Despite his many faults as a person and a politician, he is a very charismatic guy and his personality made him stand out from GOP candidates of the past.
 
There’s plenty of other old white men like Pence I would vote for too over Dems. Tons of qualified candidates over left extremism.

I will give you those, but also note that they are also happen to be traits (qualities) of every successful con man.

He can con all he wants for all I care. I agree with his policies and he's tackling things that both parties have not even thought about in 30 years.

This right here ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ He has also convinced a large portion of his block that its ok to fight liberal democrats and not be ashamed of it even when you know the race card is going to be thrown at you

The horse race polling against Clinton was even worse for Trump than Rubio when Rubio suspended his campaign, though. Trump was the worst-polling general election candidate of the final four major candidates in the 2016 Republican primary.

Another reason to be weary of general election polls so far out from Election Day, as well.

Virginia has certainly trended blue over the last decade or so, largely as a result of NoVA, but I think the right Republican candidate can still win the state (Rubio, Kasich). Trump did relatively poorly with college educated whites compared to other Republican candidates, though, so he was not the candidate you want if you want to win Virginia these days.

The lack of energy and excitement from the vast majority of true Conservatives to Kasich would more than offset the number of people in Virginia and elsewhere who crossover to vote for him. Polls would be virtually empty of these voters (Conservatives) on election day (in most suburban areas) if he was the candidate IMO

I think the fact that Hillary Clinton was on the ballot would be all the motivation conservatives would need to turn out, to be honest. But that’s just my opinion; we’ll obviously never know!

Also, I think Kasich is more conservative than he gets credit for.

Forest needs to do a lot more, Cooper right now is winning in a landslide.

we all know landslides have become more rare here for the governor races.cooper barely won the first time.I think his mishandle of COVID19/economy will easily cause him to lose but prob no landslide
 
Tennessee took the nascar race and Florida took the republican national convention out of coopers hands. Trump obviously playing a major role to help Forest
 
Not really a matter of “if” but “when” Trump or mostly likely Pence comes to NC they will hit Cooper hard on all of this and polls should swing hard to Forest
 
Don't underestimate "safety" as a huge campaign issue this year. Liberal Democrats are screwing this up big time and it's going to reflect on election day when people walk into that box to vote. The silent majority is going to be bigger than 2016
