Mmmmm......I think YOU missed the point. Perhaps I misjudged who would understand what I was talking about and who would overthink it with it being a character who doesn't exist. No biggie....You both miss the point. He was willing to let those two men go to prison for something he ordered them to do. That is not FAIR (and also against the law) as you stated. He ended up being arrested and that was the right call. Not a leader of men by any stretch of the imagination.
I understand and agree with the hard a$$ part but he has to have honor so the men know he will have their backs. An issue both our fearless leader and Nathan Jessup have no concept of. You picked an incredibly poor example but quite appropriate for my point , Thank You.
