What exactly do you mean by this?

It means you guys are losing the war to win a battle......Trump is what is allowing the progressive side of the Dem party to surge, just like Obama allowed the far right folks to push through someone like Trump.....the motivation by the Dems to remove Trump is crazy high so high they would vote for ANYONE the Dems put forth, this emboldens the socialist progressives to be more out in the open with their rhetoric etc....

In more basic terms by electing Trump the GOP has set the table for the Dems to retake control, not only that but they have fractured the Republican party maybe beyond repair setting the stage for a lengthy Dem control of the government.

Ok I gotcha. But what What this may end up turning into is a civil war. I say that because I do not believe some Americans will stand for losing there freedom or there guns.

A few days ago I watched a really interesting documentary titled, Travis: The true story of Travis Walton. Which you may be familiar with the movie the true story was based on “Fire in the Sky.”

While the documentary is about extraterrestrials and that kind of jargon, they make some good points on our politics today.

Those points being that in this world there are many closed minded individuals that have already predetermined a certain narrative. In this case, that aliens aren’t real. In politics, it’s about people who are apart of political a parties that wouldn’t acknowledge another viewpoint. In the case of the documentary, certain high ranked people, called debunkers, who refused to acknowledge that aliens were real and did everything in their power to strip the credibility of every single person who claims aliens are real. I mean who are you going to believe, the editor of a top science journal or a hillbilly from Alabama? If they can’t attack the data, they attack the person, and it works!

It’s the exact same thing that they do now. While it’s not specifically one party, look at Trump vs Liberal media for example. The media, taking a closed minded approach to what Trump is doing, ignores his side of the story and takes all of the negative things he has done to destroy his credibility. All it takes one person at the top of Media to spin the narrative, America is brainwashed into believing what is said.

Just keep in mind, if they can’t attack the data, they will attack the person.

How exactly would it become a civil war, you guys say this crap but who would be fighting who?

If you get a couple million fed up Americans march up to Washington with guns in hand. Then you have a civil war. Now I am not in no way hoping for such a awful thing. But this country is divided and a Republican nor Democratic leadership is going to fix that devision I just think it’s a matter of time before hits it’s tipping point

A couple of million? No way to organize that many armed people without every law enforcement group knowing it.

Once again the divisiveness is driven by us and our intolerance and the fix is just being decent to everyone.

That's not a civil war....its a insurrection. Second it will never ever happen, people talk tough but at the end of the day are you going to grab a gun and go die because Biden is president? I remember when Obama was going to ruin America, didnt happen, wont happen even if Bernie won......you guys give the US government way to much credit in its ability to get ---- done....hell we will even survive another 4 yrs of Trump if he manages to win again....

If the government goes door to door taking guns away. Then I guarantee people fight to keep there guns

Outside of some specific radicals, who is trying to go door to door taking your guns away? Biden's plan specifically calls for registering assault weapons (not something I am inherently against, hell all automobiles are registered), and an optional federal buy-back plan.

No one is going to barge down your door trying to take your guns, and I as someone on the center-left would definitely support you against any such move.

Donald Trump said in an interview that he'd kill the innocent family members of people labeled "terrorist." He then reiterated it in a debate. Then reiterated it again at a rally.
The Republican party almost unanimously failed to denounce him. They didn't chastise, walk-back, and/or denounce an objectively and utterly uncivilized, monstrous proclamation.
In fact, he was supported, nominated, and elected by the establishment and followers ignoring such blatant disregard for basic human decency and international and national law.
Spiritually to economically to human rights to basic governance, such an assertion and failure to condemn is, literally, uncivilized and monstrous. That's evil if there is such a thing.

Got a link for that interview. I'd like to see Trump's words exactly.

Coup? What the what man? Do you even read what you are writing?
Flynn is/was compromised. Obama tried to warn Trump, who of course ignored it because that was part of his plan to solicit foreign assistance. How much clearer can it be?
This is how clear it can be.

To me the Joe Scarborough thing is just mind boggling, its just petty and childish and evil, its dragging up all these terrible memories for the family of the women who died and for what purpose. Even with so many of his advisors telling him to stop Trump cant do it because he has a sick twisted need to hurt people that dare attack him or question him, Trump is incapable of taking the high road or being the bigger person in any of these situations...

The case is closed, has been for 20 years there is no legitimate reason to question anything...Trump is doing this to distract his base, he needs them focused on other stuff instead of his tanking polling numbers, the 100k and counting Covid deaths after Trumps utter failure regarding Corona, etc.....

This is a fundamental shift in how evangelicals have acted though. and we all know its because all of a sudden the Republican in office is a lying, cheating , immoral idiot......remember when the evangelicals called for Clinton to be removed for being immoral...so lets not pretend that the evangelicals didnt in fact judge previous presidents on moral behavior to the point they saw it as a reason to not vote for that person. So this attitude is hypocritical at best.

After President Bill Clinton’s infidelity, the 1998 Southern Baptist Convention passed the “Resolution on Moral Character of Public Officials” declaring that a person’s “moral character matters” and that Americans should not vote for candidates who do not “demonstrate consistent honesty, moral purity, and the highest character.”

During the Clinton impeachment, the Religion News Services found that 60% of evangelicals believed that immoral personal acts disqualified a person from public office. Since Trump, however, this number has dropped to 20 percent. This data confirms that evangelicals have significantly adjusted their standards of moral behavior in response to Trump. The study found that only 6% of white evangelicals were even “concerned” about Trump’s personal behavior. And an American Barometer poll published in The Hill found that a majority of Republicans (54 percent) believed that Trump represented Republican Party values.

The mental gymnastics that Evangelicals perform to support Trump are quite amazing. Trump is morally bankrupt and lacks any sense of empathy for anyone but himself and yet they love him. Can you imagine if Obama even did just one outlandish thing that Trump has? His presidency would have been over had he cut a $130,000 check to a porn star with an NDA.
