Of course I have no idea what people look like but it's funny how in your mind you get a picture in your mind of what you think people look like for some reason
That's a cool story. Maybe some of y'all will go snow hunting in Charleston this winterI've met @superjames1992 and @snowlover91 in person. I had a weather group meeting at my house. We sat in greenville while the beaches got 7 inches of snow. It was me superJames, snowlover91, weathernc and a guy named bozart from easternwx.
Heck many days me and snowlover are debating on here and texting each other about weather or corona.
Funny story about how we met snowlover... me and downeast knew him from easternwx. We were going storm chasing and invited him and he said his car was broke down and couldn't go.
Later he tells us he is just 14yrs old and that was surprising but cool cause he was pretty far along in reading maps and models even at that young age.
Oh yeah, he has fresh rib eyes on sale this week! You ever shop at Ray's?

Nice! I need to get over that way, my parents have been going since the big stores have struggled to keep meat latelyOh yeah, he has fresh rib eyes on sale this week!
Yeah the salt marshes are what makes it different here for sure. I've got salt marshes in my neighborhood. it's just a cool View.. it's a different kind of pretty compared to Florida beaches.Rather go drum fishing in the beautiful marshes around charleston......a city I've never been too but would love to. I would love to set a southern city tour. Charleston, Savannah and maybe st Augustine florida?

I've actually never been to the North Carolina coastal areas I didn't know it looks like here. Good to know.Yeah we have the marshes around here too. Beautiful topography to live around.

If you want big drum, hit the north Beach of Avon first week of November. I always get at least one 40 plus inch every yearRather go drum fishing in the beautiful marshes around charleston......a city I've never been too but would love to. There is nothing like fighting a big red drum from the surf. I used to fish cape point in my younger days but I'm not into the crowd anymore. The north Beach is empty of people and full of fish.Yeah we went out in the pamlico one year and I boated a 52 inch drum. It was ridiculously huge. With i still had the picture of that fish.
Found it..CRINGE. Nasty political adNo I haven’t, but I’ve seen some YouTube videos of him that are pretty creepy.

Yep, I remember that!Long time ago, 2011 I believe? Back when I was still a meteorology major. Ended up switching later, but it all worked out okay in the end and at least weather is a fun hobby!
What ever happened to Bozart, anyways? I haven’t seen him post in years on any forum I’ve been on.
It's easy to tell by the way they live their lives... read the book yourself.. "By their fruits you will know them" Get you a Bible and read Matt 7 then turn over to Galatians 5, Then go back and read the Beatitudes at the beginning of The Sermon on the Mount. Compare those scriptures to the two men in the picture... their lives are far from the the principles taught. Anyone can see thatAnd you know this how?
The profession that he made when he said he didn't have to ask God for forgiveness? Since Trump thinks he doesn't need forgiveness from God that must mean he thinks he's never sinned. Are you talking about that profession? (CNN Interview January 2016)Those statements were before his profession, I’m sure many of us would not want judge prior to our professions either.
He is a good man. We have done some epic snow chases together.Cool thing is weathernc and I work at the same company so I get to see him from time to time (before the coronavirus lol). Good times!

The man can smell the bullseye trust me.Yeah I helped him with that snow chase a few years back where he went up to the NY area and they got something like 40" of snow or so. One of these years I am going to try to go with him, always wanted to ride out a blizzard and see what it is like.
I am a member of a cooking/BBQ forum that also waxes political but has no thread and one moderator. We as a group decided to do Friday night Zoom sessions with a NO POLITICS rule. We laugh, hash out issues and get to know each other. It has made the forum dialogue much more respectful. This
This board is a chance to converse with people who likely have a different background, disposition, and beliefs than you. Use it wisely and constructively, let your guard down, accept people will disagree, listen, educate yourself. It's my hope that this board is enough of a community that we can have constructive conversation even if it is a little heated at times without at the end of the day completely devolving into madness.
Hot off the press, this from very well respected former Defense Secretary Mattis is pretty big news and echoes exactly what I’ve repeatedly said about Trump: he tries to divide us and is in that regard way worse than any POTUS in many decades:
“Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people”

As I have said, Trump doesn’t seem to care for Americans in general but rather for the “red” nation of our two nations. I thought Obama was quite divisive due to (among other things) what I thought was encouragement of class warfare as well as lack of support for the police as a respected institution and not putting enough effort to try to quell riots. I never voted for him and still very much feel the same way about him. However, I think Trump is much worse!
They defend it but if it was happening in their neighborhood they would not be so happy
