Not to pour cold water on everything but the Euro is still much stronger with the energy and closed near Chicago at 12z on Wednesday that's less than optimal. Watch over the next couple of days to see if the Euro tries to dampen the wave or if other models try to start going back toward it which would likely lead to a less widespread event and only favor the climo favored deep wedge zone

Hopefully we can keep up with trend of better confluence and SW position, that could start introducing the potential for a front end thump of snow, it’s quite unlikely outside the very deep CAD areas but becoming more of a possibility as confluence becomes stronger

That 1022MB line went from Norfolk to Myrtle / Columbia SC, and the 1026 from Buffalo to Norfolk. And look how much deeper that SE Canadian low is getting. Come to Daddy!

That Vortex in Alaska is a problem. Anytime it's there I think we have to just wait for it to retrograde out. Hopefully it's wrong.
