What a change from yesterday this front is actually on paper more impressive than Monday will be I was running the AC full blast yesterday ?

That’s why I posted it in the way I did. Looks more like ice although the 18z GFS was closer to having some snow in OKC. So who know...

A real blue norther coming into Texas on Sunday. Lubbock's forecast high is 83° and low Sunday night is 30°. 53° temp drop

Buford, the 0z gfs looks bad still for your area. Decent amount of mixed precipitation, especially your area nw. It even slips further southeast this run. Also 0zcmc was lights out for a month or so ice storm but it always hypes temps and precipitation.
I'm in Austin this weekend. Its colder than forecasted just tonight.
No kidding about the Canadian. This would be less then ideal...
Some kinda front for Texas in October... Grew up in Houston and Austin, and don't recall this kind of Oct front.

34 is the coldest October high ever in Dallas
We had a high of 44 on the 30th last year which is around the current forecast but yeah if it trends much colder it's gonna be near records
Yeah, that's interesting I was looking at coldest highs for CHA the other day.. it's 40 in Oct 1954.
