Yeah but not all areas of TN have had a freeze. Chattanooga hasnt.

I suppose to be In pigeon forge snow tubing November 20th. Judging by Canadian there maybe snow flakes while snow tubing. Not holding my breath but definitely a interesting look.

We need a Jan 24-25 2000 repeat badly. Maybe 4-5 degrees cooler and heavier precip farther NW this time to get the GSP and CLT metros more involved

Eh for winter winter chances, I'd feel better if this cold outbreak were to be happening a couple of weeks later in early December but a cold Thanksgiving is always good in my book.

That was a huge snow storm! I got 12 inches in about 6-7 hours with 2 inch per hour rates most of the time. Probably the only time I will ever experience snow down here that was more like living in the lake effect areas.
Spreads are still outrageous but we lost some of the super cold (highs 32-40) members so the mean ticked up slightly. That control run though
Honestly I would just like to see a good old southern slider. Cold air in place with a weak low riding along the Gulf Coast into southern GA exiting between Savannah and Jacksonville. Those always have a more expansive than modeled precip shield to the north and a lot of areas score without having a huge warm nose. It seems like it’s been so long since we had one of those.

Looks about right. I have a 5:50 AM flight out of AVL Saturday.
~250 miles south of the Gulf Coast and then turning ENE would be best for us. Kind of like the recent low's track.

Yay more consolation snow flurries/showers....like we didn't have a million of those last year here. Oh well, it's November so I'll take what I can get.
imo to me it’s seems as if blocking has backed off as we get closer this fall and I’ve noticed that quite a bit, for ex this Baffin Bay block has trended weaker thus more SER
