Pretty crazy that after this past month Oklahoma is now above the yearly tornado average despite the fairly quiet spring. Also saw that in just the past month we have nearly had the same amount of tornadoes as all of last year.

At least we should be past the main bulk of the Fall severe weather season at this point and probably won’t have to deal with any significant severe weather until late winter/early spring at the earliest.

Yeah and very lucky those were ef0's and didn't stay down because that whole track of the rotation went through very highly populated areas
But yeah it is amazing to see the flip but agreed I think we're probably mostly done now. Even last night was so borderline

OTD in 1968, this happened. Quite a bit more anomalous than the Nov 2000 storm everyone likes to talk about because it was a week earlier in the season and produced more snow east of the mtns.
I suspect more freeze watches issued with the afternoon pkgs for parts of the carolinas

You break NC away from the mainland then its going to become a tropical climate with year round growing season.

I do think NC has had a freeze, if not, common sense tells you we are beyond growing season, unless you are planting creasy greens.

Yeah… I’m not sure about the RDU office, but GSP posted last week that they would not be issuing anymore Frost/Freeze advisories after 11/10. Either way, it’s looking like tomorrow night will finish everything off for all areas outside of the coastal plain

Even the coastal plain should be done outside of places next to water. Inner banks / outerbanks region can hang in there all the way into December .
In prefect conditions Sunday morning could be low 24-27 Just don't know if we can kill the wind and the pattern is so fast and active I wouldn't be surprised to see a few patches of high clouds. Give me 32 at RDU 30 at my house 28 at your place. Probably like 26 at Roxboro and sanford

200 hour Canadian is worse than the 384 hour gfs. Lol
If the gfs had any cold available this would have been amazing
All models aren’t worth ---- past hour 200
The variability of the past 10 days and the coming week is crazy looks like most of us will be solidly back in the 70s by mid week next week
Normally with a shallow western ridge like this, the cold wouldn’t be notable, but we’re dumping some really cold air into NW Canada so even this look could bring legitimate cold, especially with persistent ridging N of AK

The year so far has been exactly average . We were on the slightly below side first of the year now we are on the slightly above , but only by .2 degrees . So exactly average .
How to put the pac jet blaster into overdrive again
