The Euro is absurdly cold next week, these are the highs and lows at day 9, both near all-time record lows for many at this time of the year.

The 850s on this most recent Euro op run are record cold at 216 HR. (i.e. "MIN ALL")

Low of 22 and high of 36 here that day per the Euro. Sounds like November. NOT. More like the middle of January in an arctic outbreak. I don't know how common cold blasts like these are and if they mean anything for winter up ahead or not.
Oddly enough last year at this exact same time there was a fairly significant arctic blast, not as insane as what the Euro is showing, but not too far off. I ran a marathon in Richmond Va on Veteran's Day and the temp was 24 at the start of the race. At home I had a low of 26.

Let's skip November and December and go into January, shall we? (based on that)

Nothing like a good waste of 30+ degrees below normal temps, in November!
I'm kinda worried that all this cold in November will mean a flip to warmer weather in December.
