November 2025

Not even close. Indiana maybe

Someone from here drove up to Indiana and got stuck and asked for money 🤣

I never did that!
They didn’t get a foot but still got a good amount. From the TIC Tok videos I saw they had to have gotten at least 6 inches. Even for Chicago that’s a big time snow in early November.

It’s been a flizzard here off and on since 11Am with nothing really accumulating. Last time I got snow this early was November 11th 2019. That winter was one of the few duds recently so early November snow doesn’t mean a thing for how the winter will turn out. Temps have gone between 33-35 degrees depending on how heavy each flizzard is. I believe this is the earliest date I’ve seen snow falling during the day. Been a few stray flurries in late October over the years but you needed head lights to see them.

here's our trough core, still back west of the mountains at 20z/3pm et. tilt 3 on kgsp is moistening up impressively, but surface air is still quite dry. newest hrrr beefing up precip this evening

My temps have dropped the past couple of hours; now down to 39. Seems to happen a lot in the mountains and areas West, but very rare to get the temps dropping through the afternoon in the Upstate. Looking forward to the first freeze of the season here. I wish there was a way to see some flurries, at least, but my area is in the down-slopping hole so no go here. Hope the rest of you guys get to see some! 🌨️
